Jacob has been trying out sitting for a few weeks now... and until yesterday could go about 30 seconds before falling over (translation = being caught by mom).Yesterday Jacob's friend, Asher, came over to play. Asher is one month older than Jacob and is a very accomplished sitter! :)
How cute are these little buddies?
We tried out sitting while Asher was over and Jake took a bit of a tumble when I wasn't quick enough to catch him. Later that night we sat down again - and Jacob seemed to get it! He sat for about 5 minutes before getting tired out.... and he has been sitting up all day today!
I am not sure if he picked up his new skill from watching Asher... or the realization that falling was possible! Either way.... we have entered the world of sitting!
He's a wobbly little sitter!
