Phew! It has been awhile since I've blogged...
Jake was sick for about a week and a half after we got back from Whidbey. Poor little guy got a cold - that turned into a 102+ fever for a few days - that we found out was an ear infection - that was treated with antibiotics - that caused a rash over his whole body - that soon went away - that came back even worse and is apparently an allergic reaction (versus just a normal reaction that they thought initially) to amoxicillin! Oh yeah - and he is cutting a tooth! Needless to say it has been rough on the little guy! Here are some cute pictures of him watching his first movie... 
Copper thought he looked pretty cozy and quickly joined him for a snuggle...

Oh... my... word. This post is adorable. Sad, but adorable. So sorry that little Jake was sick and allergic and teething, oh my! I absolutely love the pictures of him with Copper. Too much! Now that this is behind you, you should book yourself a spa day! :) Can't imagine what you went through with the demands of it all and just plain feeling badly for your little guy...
The same thing happened to our Jacob when he was that age! He had a ear infection, broke into a crazy red rash everywhere, and found out he was allergic to amoxicillin. Thankfully, there are a lot of other antibiotics out there. :)
