Emma Katherine
age: 12 months

Since I can't really interview Emma, I'll tell you about her favorite things at this stage.

Her favorite food is bread... actually any carb will do just fine!  ...close seconds are blueberries and avocado.

Her favorite toy is the boys light sabers.  I'm not joking.  She got so many fun things for Christmas and her birthday - but the toy that seems to elicit the most joy is the light sabers!

Her favorite playmates are her brothers.  She loves it when they make her laugh - and she works hard to make them laugh as well!

Her favorite activity seems to be climbing on and getting in to everything!  She loves to play with Copper and teases him by pretending to give him things and then grab them back away, falling on the floor laughing.

Her favorite word is "Dada!"  In fact, she is already a total daddy's girl!  She lights up when he gets home and tries to beat the boys to him for the first hug!  She loves to be held by him and play with him.  They have a special Father Daughter bond already.

I'm not sure what she is looking forward to in the coming year.... but I'm looking forward to her walking and talking more... and having her experience all the fun and excitement of the seasons ahead as a little toddler!
