We woke up at our own home on Christmas morning. I was so excited this year as I anticipated Jacob's reaction to the new climb and slide toy we bought for him. It finally arrived on Christmas Eve (with the weather we weren't sure it would come before Christmas!)... and Ryan and I got it set up for Jake so he would wake up to the surprise. It was a hit! In fact we had a lot of trouble getting him to open any other presents...
Ryan read us the Christmas story before we opened our stockings and ate breakfast... Jacob didn't leave his spot on top of the slide, but did listen intently!
What a great morning with our little family.
