Jacob got his first black eye last weekend...
If you've ever spent longer than 10 minutes with Jacob you know that he is not the most graceful of children (he gets this from his mommy!). The two of us are constantly bumping into walls or tripping over toys (because who has time to look around when they walk?). His eye injury came with some blood and so we got out the scooby-doo bandaids that Grandma put in his stocking at Christmas... what a hit! Who knew that Band-aids actually eased pain? He even thought his Daddy should have one...
So today when he took a big fall and bonked his nose pretty hard, he (through tears) asked for a band-aid... and wouldn't you know? The Band-aid made it all better!
