Our Whidbey Island Getaway...

We got to spend an entire week on Whidbey Island with my family!! Here is a look at our week in pictures...

waiting for the ferry - Hudson and Jake snuggled in Jake's carseat... we headed right down to the beach!

Jake had on the perfect sweatshirt - there were crabs everywhere!! Jake and Hayden had a blast turning over rocks and watching them scurry!


Papa even took them out into the water looking for bigger crabs...Nana and Papa - kissing with clams!

Jake was a little farmer - picking blackberries, apples and plums all week! He loves to eat fresh fruit right from the source!

...and Hudson learned to sit (sort of)!!! After watching his cousin Clara (who is just 7 weeks older), he tried it out! He can sit as long as he stabalizes himself on his hands... he looks like a little monkey!!

Clara has the most beautiful smile!

The boys got lots of time with their Great Grandma June!

Papa built the most amazing garage out of boxes (and kept adding to it everytime there was something new to recycle!). Jake and Hayden had a ball... although Papa may have had the most fun with it!!

The boys built an elaborate structure - we weren't sure exactly what it was - but they ALL had fun!
