On Thursday we met Nana and Hayden at the Zoo. One of the first things we saw was the giraffes - at feeding time! The boys (and Nana and I) were all amazed at these HUGE creatures - and we enjoyed watching them eat as they watched us!!
I loved watching Jake and Hayden take it all in...

Jake was more enamored with the waterfall then the Orangutan (although when you go the zoo as often as we do - this is totally excusable!!)!
Hudson finally got his wish and got out of the stroller to crawl around and explore (oh, and eat lunch!). All this sunshine makes me anxious for this little guy to walk!! All the beaches, parks and outdoor outings will be so much more fun for him when he is up on two feet!
Jake and Nana had a quick phone conversation (three feet away from each other!)
Hayden and Jake are such good friends. They play so well together - and spent a lot of the day holding hands!
We'd never done the carousel at the zoo.... Jake wasn't a huge fan of the one downtown at Christmastime so we've just skipped this one. I think those days are over! Jake and Hayden had a great time!!
