Four years ago... our Jacob Conrad was born.
He is an amazing boy and brings immeasurable joy to our lives.
He began his fourth birthday on our last day on Whidby Island.
He opened his presents...
had a birthday breakfast (he chose cinnamon rolls, sausages and cantaloupe...
Then we headed to the Space Needle. Jake has been talking about this for weeks and was what he wanted to do on his birthday! We ate at the top...
and then went up to the deck...
(in case you are wondering, Emmy and I were there too - I was behind the camera and she was on me - you can see Hudson tugging on her foot in this photo!)

He constructed this lego Space Needle set when we got home...
Then he got to watch one of his presents, Toy Story 2, for the first time (while eating a pizza dinner!)...
