We spent a wonderful Christmas Eve with my family at my parent's house...
My Grandma had shopped for the kids (and us too) prior to her passing away... so we all had gifts from her to open on Christmas Eve. I have to admit that was really tough for me - but such a treasure and so wonderful for her to do that. I love this photo my sister snapped of Emmy carrying her gift from G.G (Great Grandma)...

After all those presents and play we had a beautiful dinner together (my mom is an amazing cook!)...
...and then we headed for home. The kids got to open new pajamas to wear and we tucked them in so they could *try* to fall asleep with anticipation of what they would find when they woke up on Christmas day!
