The kids were up early and posed for the obligatory Christmas morning picture before they got to see all of the presents and open their stockings...
Even Copper had a stocking...
Then we had Grandma and Boppo over for our traditional Christmas breakfast (egg casserole, cinnamon rolls, bacon) & singing Happy Birthday to Jesus... and then we opened our gifts from each other.
Emma's main present was a dollhouse... actually it was my dollhouse, given to me in 1980 from my mother's Great Aunt Caroline.
I cleaned it up and repainted it white, with a tan roof and shudders with pink trim... and an 'E' above the front door.
After opening our gifts, Grandma & Boppo headed home to get ready for Christmas at their house... and we had a little down time.
...and then we went down the street to Grandma & Boppo's house to celebrate Christmas with Ryan's family.
