After Church we went over to Ryan's Parents house, with his whole family, for the afternoon. What a great day! We spent the afternoon enjoying each other, cooking, playing, napping, eating, hunting for eggs, opening Easter baskets, eating again, and then eating a little more!
My boys looked so cute in their new outfits from Grandma...
It would have been a great day for a picture of the brothers... this is about as close as I got to that shot...
Also a good day for a family photo, right?? Ryan and I were participating...
one boy is looking at the camera...
Both boys are at least looking at the camera - we'll take it!
Jake is having a hard time concentrating on anything else, because his Easter basket contained his beloved new "Mack" truck (from the Cars movie). You can see his eyes here when his Grandma handed him his basket - he spotted the truck and lit up with delight!
...and then played with it all day long! He hardly noticed the rest of the great presents in his basket! In fact, when we got home that night we unloaded his new things from the car. He said excitedly, "Mom, do I get to borrow these trains?" He hadn't even realized that the trains he played with at Grandma and Boppo's house were for him (they were in his basket)!
Hudson loved his new toys as well... Balls are pretty much his favorite thing right now. He crawls up to a ball, grabs it, then falls over on his back, lifting the ball up in the air (while laughing), then he throws the ball and chases it down to do it all again!

Little Lily celebrated her first Easter... her mommy helped her open her Easter basket!
The boys had a good time hunting for eggs with their cousins. Hudson discovered ALL the eggs that were on the stairs and crawled to each one while his Daddy helped him collect them into his basket.
Jake momentarily put "Mack" in his basket while hunting for eggs...
but soon decided it was a better idea to carry him while hunting...
and then finally gave in to the urge to just stop and play with him! I mean, why hunt when you have everything you want, right?!
Here's Charlie checking out his loot... and then realizing he opened all his chocolate eggs, he continued his Easter egg hunt in the other loot bags! He is too cute!
Gracie showed off her coins! She definitely collected the most eggs... and got the most coins. After counting them up she decided she wanted to share them with her brother and helped put them in Charlie's new piggy bank...
Hudson loved playing in the Easter grass...
