Emma was dedicated at our church this past Sunday. All of our kids have been dedicated... and it is really more for the parents than the kids. It's a promise. It is our public declaration that we know Emma is a gift from God... that He has entrusted her to us to raise. And that we promise to raise her in a home that loves the Lord - that is committed to Him and his word.
Pastor Jayson presented her to our church and then prayed for her, and for us. It is our prayer that she would come to know Jesus' love at an early age - and that she would accept this love and believe in Him.
Emma was surrounded by many of her family members (as well as our church family). Grandma and Boppo and Megan and Lily came...

Nana and Papa and Emmy's Great Grandma June came (in fact, we planned the date of her dedication around my Grandma's trip so that she could witness this day)...
It was even more special because Emma's dear cousin, Olivia was dedicated on the same day. Emmy and Liv are only 3 weeks apart and destined to be great friends!
