Thanksgiving!

Our family had a great Thanksgiving weekend...

My good friend Amanda and I got together on Wednesday night to bake!  We were each bringing pies and rolls to our Thanksgiving celebrations so we decided to bake together!  It was so much fun!  Here is a peek at our pies and dough all prepped to become yummy rolls the next day!

 On Thanksgiving my nephew, Hayden, read to us!  He has just learned how to read and he wrote a beautiful books on pilgrims at school that he read to our family...

 The following day is the famous "Noodle Night."  My amazing mother-in-law puts on a party the day after Thanksgiving (for 25+ people!), with homemade noodles in a homemade turkey broth that is divine!  Her day started early with noodle making with Grace and Charlie... the kids always help Grandma make the noodles and this year was no different.  Except that since the last noodle night, my dear niece and nephew were diagnosed with Celiac disease - which basically means their bodies cannot tolerate gluten.  SO... Paulette made them their own batch of gluten free noodle soup... and they got to go over early to assist in the noodle making!  We showed up a bit later and Jacob wanted to help Grandma with the rest of the noodles...  Sadly, I manages to take about three pictures (all day!).  Before the rest of the guests arrive, Ryan read the cousins a few books.  Or rather the Nook read them a few books, and Ryan graciously let the kids climb all over him...

 We had a great day, and a great evening!  It was so fun to catch up with family members we don't see enough, enjoy a yummy dinner and watch the kiddos all have crazy fun hanging out together!  Speaking of crazy cousins...  Hudson and Lily thought rubbing their noses on this door was hysterical!  These two crack me up...  They are so similar and have such a great time together.  I do, however, have nervous visions of them skydiving and mountain climbing together as young adults!
